Tim Hortons

First time we visited this location, our orders were wrong and the staff had poor customer service. The second time we visited (which was the next day), I waited 30 minutes to place my order. Staff were slow and definitely was understaffed.

Tim needs to figure out how to simplify the ordering process. Line was 20 people deep, couldn’t understand why, then when we ordered it became clear. You ask for a #10 and they ask if you want egg, sausage or bacon... I want a #10 it comes with egg, sausage and cheese.... back and forth we go... I eventually gave up and said sausage. Then he asked what type of bagel, ok sesame. the point of the number system is to eliminate this confusion. in the end it tasted good, but I have no idea what “sausage” got me...

Tim Hortons is the best! I thought the last thing the North American continent needed was another coffee chain, but the taste of Tim Hortons is noticeably better than Starbucks or Caribou. They offer WiFi even in their stores that are more remotely located, and the selection of baked goods and other non-coffee items are reasonably priced and high quality. Clean, modern, and pleasant facility.

Very comfy and warm place for my family and friends to meet all.and coffee shop.

I just love the coffee here. You can't go wrong with a dark roast double double. All the baked goods are made in house so it's always fresh. The breakfast and lunch combos are great options for when you're on the go. You can grab a bagel, biscuit or panini and drive off to your next adventure. Free WiFi on site. Clean Restrooms.

Convenient location, does feel a bit small and you occasionally get the wrong order, but they fix it immediately

This Tim Hortons outlet is in a good location immediately you enter the Banff town. The customer service is superb and very friendly staff. The outlet have several seats and large moving area. Their restroom is also clean and well maintain. This is essential being in a tourism location.The prices are a little expensive but it is understandable what you should expect in a tourism location like this.

Hot choco is always love!Also chicken wrap and poutine were delicious.

Tim hortons in banff has the worst service hands down! 30 minutes for a bagel is ridiculous. Felt like the dmv take a number and wait 60 orders for your order to be missed and forgotten! Never again.

Not a very organized store... Always a long wait and the line up blocks the bathrooms for the regular patrons. Even when there is 10 plus people waiting there is only one till open. Food was fine on the first visit, we gave up and left on the second visit because after waiting about 5 minutes they were still helping the first of 11 people in line.... Open a second till! I won't go back here.

Pretty nice tim hortons can you really go wrong for a quick meal

I think this is the worst Tim Hortons. It's our second time visiting this location with friends from Hungary. The display is very poorly designed, not enough server, both time run out of food, tables are messy. Sorry to write you this but we were very disappointed.

To be the main Canadian place to eat for foreig people it should be more efficient clean.

I spent 5 days in Banff and every day went to this Tim Horton's. Every trip is a flip of a coin what they will screw up. I tend to only visit the location when it was least busy to avoid such poor service. My most recent visit followed. When placing my order and speaking clear and friendly as everyone should, they still look at me like I am asking for the impossible. I asked for a large Iced Cap and a large Iced Coffee, extra sweet. After the employee stared at me like I was a moron, asked "Iced Cap?" To my response "yes, and a Iced Coffee, extra sweet." After punching it in for the screen to read extra cream, I said again "extra sweet" for her to nod looking at me like I have a problem. I pay and wait to find that my drink had extra cream but 0 sweetener. I refuse to waste my time with people who, despite being put on the till, not taking orders correctly. I wasted enough of my time and money at this poor excuse of an establishment.

Best french vanilla you can find around.

All Tim Hortons I've been were great. Friendly, efficient and tasty. We understand the Banff was can be busy in July... But I'm sure that happens every year and should be able to cope. Instead we experienced long waiting times, products not being available and staff not be able to understand our orders... Big disappointment unfortunately

Always a pleasure to visit, had great service from the Timmes team and the breakfast sets you up for the day. Always a go chain no matter what time of day. Also Tim Hortons is an affordable option when on the go, with good food and fair prices.

It's a Canadian staple. If you have to wait it is because the the only other Timmies is 20Km away!

Very disappointed with how a gentleman handled a situation. When I went to pick up my tea I noticed that it was cold, like stone cold. I pointed it out to the guy who was making coffees and teas. He apologized at first and then asked me what I had in it so he could make me a fresh one. As he handed me the fresh one he said "you know there is 3 cream in here so like it's not going to be hot"I'm sorry but I have been ordering my tea the same way for nearly 10years and it is AWLAYS HOT. How about instead of blaming the customer for how they take their tea how about you take responsibility for the fact that your tea wasn't fresh. Rude.

I don't think they train ppl they just throw them in the bull pin. I swear they mess up almost half of orders I come here daily and I'm gonna find a different place enough is enough when u have 5 staff and it takes 20 minutes to get ur order

We came to this TH few times every year in the past few years, the service quality dropped down significantly. Poor management. Avoid this one, more choices in town.

Hopeless. Couldn't even take a simple order for a bagel without needing 3 staff to operate the register. Gave up and left with nothing because the total looked too high and they seemed incapable of explaining what they'd actually entered.

Just okay customer service. Sometimes stuff is missing or out of stock, rest is good.

The best with reasonable price

Excellent service! This was our one stop for food on the bus from Jasper to Calgary. I have a gluten sensitivity so eating fast food is a challenge. Cheryll helped me choose a salad with a protein and a drink. It’s no winder they’ve won service awards here!

THE WORST EVER!Served breakfast bread that burned to a crisp to customer...unbelievable...extremely bad experience here. Unfriendly staff! terrible service!

Good food and pretty fast service even tho there were quite a few people there!

Came to this Location, more then four times and they kept making two X-Large double - doubles wrong. Then another the last time going here, and we waited 40 minutes for our coffee and kept being told to wait. After 45 minutes past, I yelled over everyone in the coffee shop to ask for our coffees. When we left, our coffees were half filled and told to leave. Worst two day coffee shop visit.

The service was terrible it took 30 minutes for my drinks to come out and I wasn’t the only one, there were tons of other people waiting for hours before myself for their orders. When we reminded the staff of our order they just laughed it off and ignored us. Definitely will not be visiting this Tim’s again.

I noticed that they have recently renovated this location but it still has a poor design for the lineup where it gets crowded inside of the restaurant. The staff is quite friendly and the food is good, last time I went there the hash brown was a bit crunchy.

Store closes at 11 but all the baked goods were already put away at 1150, this is poor customer service

Terrible service! Sooo slow (extremely). 5 people behind the counter and no one seemed to know what they were doing/ they were not familiar with the menu and everyone else at the line was upset. I love tim hortons and have never experienced this service before, quite surprised it happened at the Banff location.

Tim Hortons store has regular menu and exceptional views. Can't go wrong!

Why can Tim Hortons never manage to have enough soup available for the day. Maybe affording for a bit of waste at the end of the day could make sure the wells don't constantly run dry early. This is a busy location, you'd think they would have more on the way when it hits a certain level. There are better faster options in the city, got to them instead.

Must have stopover for hungry travellers!The bagel BELT was great - swapping out bacon for sausage is a good bang for your buck.Maple donut is amazing - as is the honey crustler! A must do for tourists & locals alike!

When its good, its good. But the line builds up sometimes and it feels not so good cause everyone's getting impatient. Just need to work out a system.

I go to timmies around 3 times a day back home, here I have been 4 times in the last 3 months. I have had burnt/old coffee twice & I ordered a farmers wrap around 4pm last Sunday I swear the hash brown was made in the morning & sat there all day was stale & hard. Gross. Not recommended. Poor service & communication. The hours suck.

Seems like they need to open up another location. We had to wait over 20 minutes from queueing to getting our food. Nothing wrong with the staff. I guess they just love their Timmy’s north of the border!
